  I use Ramps 1.4 with Fusion360 post process and MARLIN firmware not GRBL. Works great.

  Thanks so much for joining our community, for the most part the software that drives the Shapeoko is fairly lightweight so most modern laptops can handle the Carbide Create software. There is support for both Windows and Mac so it is your choice which one you want to get.
