RE: Looks interesting...
Thanks @rtully -
As Ryan mentioned it is a machine that is customized by you, assembled by MatterHackers. Comes with the MatterHackers guarantee and customer support, so you're sure to love the machine.
The printer is based on the very robust and proven Prusa i3 design. We have hundreds of hours of testing in the books for the machine and customers are very happy to have received an customized, assembled, and tuned machine that was ready to go out of the box.
Don't hesitate to call and ask MatterHackers' sales staff if you have any questions!

RE: Simplify3D...Is it worth it for a noob?
Tough to say that paying is worth while when MatterControl and others are free. Technology advancements in simplify are extremely limited. I personally do not think it is a worthwhile invesment for an advanced user, certainly not a 'noob.'

RE: My MC 10 is useless
@19kilo Sorry to hear you are having troubles with the T10. Sounds like you may have a defective unit, we can send you a new one asap. Please email me: support@matterhackers.com
We don't often get returns but we stand by our product and are eager to help you succeed. In the event that the product does not meet your expectations, I assure you that we can facilitate a return with your money back, seems like you let us know in sufficient time within your purchase.
To start some preliminary diagnosis - I am curious what the file the T10 continues to crash when attempting to print, if you are able to share, please attach it in your email.
Look forward to hearing from you.

RE: Introducing MatterControl T10
MatterControl T10 can handle larger files. Here is a quick comparison of the hardware behind the slicing engine:
MatterControl T10
- CPU: 2GHz Octa-Core 8 X 2GHz
- 1GB RAM
- 16GB Storage
MatterControl T7:- CPU: Quad Core 4 x 1.4GHz
- 1GB RAM
- 8GB Storage
It still has its limitations - It is always best to reduce STL files to a reasonable size to ensure the fastest slicing.
