Pulse E-112M Can't connect to computer

I am trying to connect my new Pulse E112M to my laptop. It won't see the printer when I connect the usb cable. Any suggestions?

@rcastle925 I need a little more information about your laptop, which operating system are you using? And by not seeing it, do you mean that it is not visible in MatterControl?

Did you follow the software install setup?
Turn the printer on with the USB cable attached, but not plugged into the laptop
Install the MC software
Follow the step from the wizard
Also, make sure no other USB devices are plugged into your laptop that might cause issues

Also, you may wish to check the usb cable. The usb cable that came with my Pulse was defective.
