MH wont connect on my laptop, but will on my PC to the same printer.

Title says it all. My printer works just fine on my pc, connect it to my laptop and i get system.io.ioexception what am i doing wrong? creality 10s5

I also did the whole, comsurrogate thing

the COM port is likely different on your laptop. The profile saves the COM port in the profile. So, you'll need to manually change the COM port under Printer > General > Serial Port

Ok so i changed nothing, just reconnected to my main pc, then to my laptop and its fine now?

@chaoticcole it could have just been a Windows issue. Sometimes Windows does weird things with COM ports, and that may have been the case with the issue you had.
