Pulse XE: How Clean Build Plate

I have just received my Pulse XE with the magnetic Build Plate add on. The Getting Started Guide instructs you to remove the test print from the bed. When I removed it (by lifting it iff), it left behind a thin layer of material on the Build Plate.

What is the best way to remove this material / clean the Build Plate ?

@dcooper000 What is your build surface>? Garolite?

@dcooper000 I use a sharp spatula made for icing cakes.
