Slicing time ....zzzzzz

Hi guys
Really like using MatterControl but oh dear the time it takes to slice??. I have a fairly fast i7 pc and no problems with other slicing software but MC just takes forever, is this a common problem please?.

Would love to look into specific issues. If you are willing to post to GitHub your profile and a model (either a link or a zip) we will look into improving the speed.
I know it is easy to create a case that is slow, but it is much more productive and inspiring for the team to be working on a real problem someone is having. We release a new build about every month and there have been many dedicated to improving the speed of a specific case.
