Not reach set temp

Pulse xe won't reach set temp, always gets within ten and bounces

@jeremy74 Would help to know what the temp is and what it is (Nozzle or bed). First you will have trouble on the pulse to reliably go above 280ish on the nozzle and if you do you will kill the thermistor relatively quickly. The bed depending on ambient temp is at about 95. Also if the fan is on (part cooling fan) the temp will be lower. If you do not reach that temp then you might have a problem. If you dont on the nozzle then see if the heater cartridge is tight. If its the bed see if you can wiggle the connector on the bed and if the wires get hot. If you don't have a strain relief on the bed wire the wiggling of the connector when the bed goes back and forth will cause arcing and the connection degrades. Also check the wires to the PSU and the temp of the PSU if its 15A or less that might be problematic.

It's the nozzle I set for 245 it gets to 235 and then drops, if set to 260 it gets to 250 and drops, sometimes bounces a few times before drops, bed is fine. Thank you

Give tech support a call, I ran into this when I first received my printer and they solved the issue for me.
