Run MatterSlice from command line

Hi everyone! I'm working on a slicing automation project, and I was wondering if anyone has ever tried bypassing the MatterControl GUI and running MatterSlice directly from the command line or if anyone knows whether or not this is possible.
If so, could you provide an example of command line arguments to use when running from the command line or from an external script? I've done a similar thing with CuraEngine, and I'm wondering if the two are similar.

I am not sure that I have ever heard of anyone accomplishing this, the best person to confirm if it is possible would be @LarsBrubaker

You can. If you just type MatterSlice.exe into a command line it will show you the required parameters.
