Overall Speed of a Print
-
Hi,
So what speed setting is adjusted for the overall speed of a print on a Pulse XE using MatterControl? If I want to print some flex material at let's say 15 mm/s, which speed setting is used to set this so I am printing at 15 mm/s?

Hey @Otolith
You will want to take a look and change these settings down 10 about 15mm/s. Remember to disable all retraction as well, otherwise it is going to be one hell of a fight.

Hi Michael,
Thanks but I need to know which particular speed settings to set in MatterControl for that overall speed There is no generic speed setting that I can see in MatterControl, only specific speeds can be set (Infill, Perimeter, etc...)

Alright I think I may have immediately gone for the in depth settings rather than pointing you to the simple answer of changing the the quality settings which will change both layer height and speed settings. Other than that the only option I can think of is the mentioned above speed settings.
The settings I mentioned above are the speed settings we have, there is really no other way to change them with a simple "Overall" singular percentage. Unless I have missed it and been doing it wrong all along!

Hi Michael,
Thanks again for the reply but you don't mention any settings in that post above that I can see.

I suppose the picture may not be showing up with the options from my first response which were boxed in said picture.
Those settings were the following under the "Speed" tab for "Slice Settings"
- Initial Layer Speed
- Infill
- Top Solid Infill
- Raft
- Inside Perimeters
- Outside Perimeters
- Support Material
Hopefully that fills in the gap we had here.

Thank you Michael!!!!
