Text is printing below Layer (bottom layer in this case)

Hey, New to this whole thing, and MatterHacker was a great find!
I am trying to add text to a design I found on line. Thre text needs to be on the bottom of the print...but when it prints, the text is always below the bottom layer, so it can not be seen. if I hack away at it, or sand it down, it is there. No matter what I set the depth or zlayer at I can not get it to seem to slice properly so put the text in the right spot. Is there a trick to this?

Not sure what you are exactly doing, but you may need to combine before you save or export.
