Failing to Export

Hi everyone, I looked through as many similar posts as I could but none of them were similar enough to where I thought it was the same issue.
I'm using the newest Linux MatterControl (08/06/2020), this is my first time with the software, and it wont export at all. When I click export it will open the menu for file selection, but then when I press export nothing happens. No file created, my file manager doesn't open even with the box checked. I've tried going to print first, and then exporting. All the same result. Is there a driver or something I could be missing?

Not sure what fixed it but I uninstalled, reinstalled 1.7 and then updated and it fixed itself. My assumption would be there's a package missing in the new update.
