Can't select and copy text from the terminal window

Is there a reason why the terminal window text can't be selected and copied?
I can think of a number of reasons why you'd want to.

I think a got a junk reply to a legitimate question.
When sending G-Code commands through a terminal window, it's very helpful to copy and paste replies from the printer. This is not possible at the moment. Why?

@itab You can save/write it to a log file though there is that option on the bottom I think
