​Setting up new printer - invalid printer response

Hi all

I have just completed a kitset build of an AnyPrusic Prusa i3 Mendel printer. The Com port is set to 3 and my printer type is set to Other Prusa i3.

I'd like to try out MatterControl 1.7 on Windows 7 Ult. When attempting to connect to the printer, I repeatedly get a "Connection Failed: Invalid printer response".

Cura connects fine. Any experts please chime in.

Sounds like you have the wrong baud rate. Try switching it from 115200 to 250000, or vice versa.

i have had the same problem for years, it shows connected but there is no temp's showing, or any control, basically not realy connected
