Software leveling and the SD card

So, Does anyone know if the auto leveling function modifies the gcode saved to the SD card?

I use the auto leveling function, which is very good by the way, but want to print off my SD card for long prints. I don't want to break my printer unintentionally by having the gcode think it's much lower than it actually is when using the sd card, when it would be fine printing from the computer directly.

There's a check box when you click Export from the Queue that allows you to apply the software leveling to the exported G-Code file.
