Viewing GCODE files

New to this product. I'm trying to view GCCODE files that were exported out of ShopBot software. The file opens and its name is displayed, but there isn't any rendering of the object. Is this a limitation of the free version or of my current knowledge level? I suspect the latter. Thanks in advance
