Preset for M3D Printer

will you be creating MatterControl presets for the M3D Printer?

The M3D uses a different and unique communications protocol than most printers. It is similar to X3G in that the G-Code is translated to a bytecode on the PC side, then fed to the printer.
We want to support the M3D someday, but it will be much more difficult than simply creating presets. Currently we are working on supporting native USB printers like the FlashForge Dreamer. Maybe after that the M3D will get some attention.

A third party firmware that takes regular gcode. That is excellent news. I'll see if we can get a profile into MC. Are there any existing Cura or Slic3r profiles we could base it on?

I think it is not necessary to use the official profile of M3D micro as it is bad.

I created a MatterControl profile that will be included with version 1.6. Would appreciate some testing done on it first. It seems to work well enough on our M3D.
