I do some guitar and guitar pedal work. I've been thinking of a way to create incredibly low cost pedals and thought maybe I could 3d print the usually metal case.
Besides structure, the greatest benefit of a metal casing is the ability to shield the electronics inside reducing noise.
Anyone have any ideas on what plastics might work best for reducing noise? Anyone have experience with metal filaments.
Read a paper I found online (here) which suggests PLA with graphite does an excellent job but that stuff ain't cheap
