What all did you enable in the firmware? And, if you are using it with a Pulse XE, would you be willing to share you firmware?

RE: Cura profile?
I've been talking with MatterHackers support and they sent me some starting G-Code that you can use assuming you have a 'D' model Pulse. (I think the sticker is on the back of the gantry with the model number)
I have not yet had a chance to test it yet, but this is what they sent:
G28 ; home all axes
M280 P0 S160 ; clear probe status
M280 P0 S10 ; deploy probe
G29 ; run firmware mesh leveling
M280 P0 S90 ; retract probe
G1 X15 Y10 Z0.8 F1800 ; move to front corner of bed
G92 E0 ; reset extruder position
G1 X100 Z0.3 E20 F900 ; purge hot end
G92 E0 ; reset extruder position
G1 E-2 F3600 ; retract filamentYou can change or delete anything after "M280 P0 S90" if you don't want to use the purge line.

Updating Printer Firmware
Since Marlin has the ability to doing a bed level routine and save the data to EEPROM, is it possible to reflash/update the firmware for the Pulse so that this can be done?

RE: Performance of MatterControl when slicing models
Sure thing, its not a brand new PC, but I have no issues running very heavy software on it (Siemens NX, PTC Creo).
Operating System: Windows 7 64 bit
Processor: Intel Core i7 3630QM CPU @ 2.40 GHZ
Installed Ram: 12.0 GB
GPU: NVIDIA Quadro K2100M -
Performance of MatterControl when slicing models
MatterControl seems to take FOREVER and regularly consume 5-6GB of Memory to slice models.
For comparison.
In Cura 2.4, I can slice a benchy in under 15 seconds and be ready to put the G-Code on a SD card and print. In doing so, consuming less then 500 Kb of memory
In MatterControl 2.0.0.10065, the same benchy with standard settings takes 58 seconds and consumed 1GB of memory.
Thats a 4x increase in time. I can compare more models if you would like...

RE: Cura profile?
If anyone has a working Cura profile for the Pulse, could you post it somewhere? I'd love to use Cura as the slicer for this printer.

RE: Blob at end of print
I emailed about this issue about a month ago with the exact exported G-Code that caused the blob. Erik Escudero responded and told me that they were aware of the issue and working it and that the work around is to run it connected to MatterControl (which, i have been and have not experienced this issue although running a printer that has a screen from a PC is really not convenient).
I just downloaded the latest Alpha release but have not yet tried to export and print from a SD card.
It sounds like this is still an issue tho.
If anyone wants the G-Code that i sent in, let me know, i can send it over.

RE: Pulse comparison
@dirtbikes987 i have never heard anyone say anything negative about the support from Matter Hackers.
How do you like your Pulse? Was there any issue getting it set up and printing? How has the quality of the prints been?

Pulse comparison
From what I have seen from the 3D Printing Nerd and the 3D Maker Noob, the Pulse is a great platform.
I realize that this is a Matter Hackers forum, but I would love a honest comparison between the Pulse XE and the Prusa i3 MK3.
I am considering both of these printers and plan on buying on soon.
Is there anyone with experience with both that would be willing to share?
