@mpirringer i reprinted all the pulse parts with priline carbon fiber polycarbonate. My current most used filament. Other cool things cf pc has been doing pretty well at:and of course they are nickle dicking me over this massive 2mb file that i already hideously shrank down and defeated its whole purpose

RE: Bad prints in pulse XE with lots of support structure.
@tinken YES now this is something i have been trying to figure out, on my own obviously ( how bizarre the pulse family is actually quite similar to my own) but i havent been able to gain too much about smoothie or w.e. im fairly confident i can flash the marlin firmware to the azteeg x5 gt but not confident enough to pull the trigger and risk what i can imagine would be a costly error if unable to reconcile any errors.
So you have had success switching it to marlin with the azteeg x5gt? Perhaps you could send me the config files so i might compare it would be much appreciatedDont get me wrong ive been producing decent prints its the overall matterhacker side of the experience that has me grumpy. Now theres communists on here editing peoples speech wtf get a life for fucks sakes.

RE: Bad prints in pulse XE with lots of support structure.
@cope413 fuck you dude this is america freedom of speech worry about your own writings and sulk in the corner at language that bothers you. Paying 3 times the price for generic bearings, rods, a unverifiable e3d hotend with a 15 dollar heatsink ( btw the best part on there imo the threaded heatsink opposed to the groove ) shitty board with even shittier firmware and then these mother fucking communists have the nerve to offer 150 matter control pro, i wonder if that gets the functionality that it currently is denied. 1700 dollar printer envious over my ender 3 because it can use cura. What a joke . Mind your fucking business lame.

RE: Pulse XE appreciation???
@rimouskite just incase anyone comes across this, trying to find information that will sway their purchase decision (correctly)-
I (and i suspect many others) would strongly recommend biting the bullet and hop in line for a prusa. I know when i was trying to make a decision in this regard that i kick myself anytime im reminded of my lack of patience ( i think the prusa's had over a 10 week lead time at that point ) and thought there couldnt be that much difference overall , right? Im here to tell you that yes there is a huge difference.
I like my pulse overall but still cannot get over the realization that one can build 2, perhaps 2 and a half pulae printers for the 1500 - 1700 they charge ( for the xe ). Besides being reamed on price, ultimately, there is no comparison whatsoever between a prusa and a pulse. Sure they may be similar in most aspects of physical design but one is SMART and the other is the pulse. Yeah you can achieve good prints on both, but i can also print nlyonx or some carbon fiber polycarbonate on an ender 3 and get some prints that are just as good, albeit slower.
Thats not even mentioning the dependency with matter control which offers nothing close to Cura, which my ender is much more capable in this regard.
Certain things like having an auto sync of the z axis' and others that come standard with a prusa make all the difference especially when spending such a large sum of money. No need to thank meAlso, in case this happens to reach mr rimouskite : if your of the mind to print exclusively in nylonx, you would be MUCH better off doing so in something like priline carbon fiber polycarbonate, or even their version of "nylonx" which would be carbon fiber nylon. Or many other brands which perform as well as print as good or better than nylonx. Also in most cases cheaper , while coming in a full kg. There are so many cons that are offered with nylonx (matterhackers in general) that its almost disrespectful.

RE: Rediculous Problem on new Pulse XE
@tinken my thoughts exactly on the plastic heat sink nut. Not to mention without a socket , trying to tighten in with say a crescent wrench is not the easiest thing to do. But i guess its plastic and cannot withstand that amount of tightening anyway.

RE: Pulse XE Z-axis Non-destructive Switch Adapter
Perhaps because of its low cost? Thats the only reason i can figure for them using it, and that also conforms to their overall business model- which is to charge double , most of the time triple the price for every piece incorporated in their printers, and filament. I do understand operating in communist occupied california almost requires such policies, and in that regard they would be somewhat competitively priced. But overall not a consumers concern nor is it acceptable

Knurled threaded inserts on pulse printed parts
Does anyone know what size the threaded inserts are for the limit switch on the x axis? I know the ones for the part cooling fan / shroud are m3. But the ones on the limit switch are reallllly small and i dont have any screws to compare them with. Any ideas ? Thanks.
Whoops almost forgot its for the pulse xe e-423s.

RE: NylonX Warping
@dougbailey stop overpaying for half a kg , priline carbon fiber polycarbonate will make you hate nylonx.
But also 265 is a little hot? Ive always been at 255
