I am looking to but my first 3d printer and am getting over loaded with info. So I am looking at the HICTOP prusa i3 and the Alunar DIY Prusa i3. I am pretty good with building things so would the DIY be worth the cast savings? And Mono price has some in expensive machines, are they good?

And I read something about a all metal print head, does this have one? Is it worth worrying over?

And exotic filaments like HIPS (High Impact Polystyrene) will this machine be able to use it?

Is 100 micron a good resolution to start with?

Or am I looking at the wrong questions to ask.

Any advise is greatly apriciated.
