Yes such as Solidwork. On the save as screen when you select the STL format there is an options button. If you designed in millimeters and export is set to inches you will import the model expecting a millimeter file unknowing the software used converted and save as inches. This would make for a very small model.

Top layer raster lines not rotating 90 when even total layers
I have already submitted this issue .
When there are an even amount of layers the top most layer is not rotated 90. If there are an odd amount of layers it slices fine. Been thru a number of setting and the result is the same. Now if there are no top layers and infill is 100% the layer does alternate correctly. Just something wrong with top layers
Pause each layer for short time
I thought this would work but I am trying to cause a small pause for every layer with the nozzle away from the print. So in the layer change Gcode I have this
G91 ;move relative
M83 ;extrude relative
G1 E-3.5 F1200 ;retract
G0 Z10 F3000 ;lift
G4 P5000 ;pause
G0 Z-10 F3000 ;lower
G1 E3.5 F1200 ;extrude back
M82 ;extrude absolute
G90 ;move absolute
it just does not seem to work right. And can't explain what happens exactly. But after the first layer it seems to extrude a large amount of filament. almost like it is resetting the current position. Even Matter control is reporting a large amount a filament used during a small print of 5x5x10 mm. This should just retract the filament, raise, pause, lower extrude back to where it was and continue.
Variables in custom code section
Not sure what to call them exactly. I'm trying to find the variables to use in the code section to insert certain data. Such as the one you see on the layer change so it replaces the variable with the layer number. Is there a list of them all somewhere?
