I recently had this problem, and discovered that the rods were shifting in the ends causing the belt to slacken off, a little dab of super glue fixed the problem.

RE: 1.7 on older mac but newer Qidi printer?
I use 1.7 and have found no problems with it , compared to when I tried V2.
I also have a paid version of Symplify3D and still use 1.7. I must admit, that if I need support I go to simplify3D download the gcode and print it in 1.7 -
RE: Help Needed desperately
Hi solved the problem, seems I had the thermisters plugged in incorrectly.

Point of interest
Had a problem arise last week, one of many to be truthful.
After printing a test cube I found I needed to adjust the X and Y E steps, no problem. But when I went to print the cube again on the following morning, the Z axis started running at less than snail pace.
After swapping motor drivers and axis leads, I determined it to be either a control board or Marlin problem, most likely Marlin as I had made adjustments there.
So looking in the area I had changed, ( this I might add is after a few days of searching else where) I found the problem, a simple little typo error, a Comma instead of a full stop, 80,78,52, 4000,837.00
Instead of 78.52 I had put 78,52, it was reading the 52 as the Z axis speed instead of 4000. a simple mistake that could send anyone to the funny farm.

RE: 2.19.7.10353 should I risk updating
Unfortunately I can be of any help.
But the fact that so many bits are hidden away is the reason I did not like it.I use control v1.75 to print with but use S3D to slice, simply because of the better support structure, Which in my HO sucks in matter control which ever version you use -
RE: Got my 2nd printer as a present
Good luck with it, keep us in touch on how it goes.

RE: Argh MC and Fans on the Pulse
Changed the springs for spacers, did make a very small difference, but not enough, not sure what the problem is, if I print a hole in the vertical position it prints perfectly. Only happens when printed flat on the bed, definitely seems to be an axis problem.

RE: Upgrading the Pulse
When I upgraded the bed from 200 X 200 to 315 X 315, using the 12v supply it took 12-15 minutes to heat to 60c.
By upgrading to another 24v supply It now takes 4-5 mins to heat to 80c.
Not sure but I think the bed is rated to 110c. -
RE: Printing temp which one is wrong...
In general, I print PLA at 195-200 and PetG at 225-235, with good results at either settings.

RE: Can't Export
I had a problem with the export as well, it only exported half the file.
So I have reverted back to V1.75 once again, for me it is far more reliable, and must easier to use and find things. -
RE: Printing temp which one is wrong...
Its one available here in Ausland it's by a Chinese company Sunlu, not sure how well known it is, but it works well, it's what I used to print the parts when I rebuilt the printer.

RE: Printing temp which one is wrong...
Can't really help with other brands, I find the one available that works for me and stick with it.
Not one for experimenting. -
RE: Remote monitoring Pulse XE
It's not that bad, mostly it runs OK , it just has it's little hiccups on occasions. I can live with it.
