@hamprinter Thank you! I just figured that out myself last night as well, came here to post that was the cause. Hmm. Feel like that setting maybe should be grouped with the speeds, but thats a UI question.

Trouble assigning second extruder to material (dual color or use second extruder exclusively)
I;ve seen the Multi-color support page ( https://www.matterhackers.com/mattercontrol/support/printing/multi-color-stls?search=multi )
But, I'm still unclear, how do I assign a given extruder to a material. That doesn't seem to be explained. And the only other extruder number reference I see is to assigning a "support material extruder".
While on the topic, how can I simply assign a mono-color print to print from extruder number #2?
Sorry, I promise I have read the FAQs and support guides.

RE: Printer problems
I just had the same issue creating a new printer myself in the last three days. (Posted about it too.) I think they need to add a routine to test a different baud rates.
SInce it appears this forum is very lightly traveled, could I ask you to look at my other post about slice speeds not matching what are in the settings --- for example infill speed when sliced is lees than the actual setting. would like other eyes on it to see if it is a me issue, or something Im missing entirely.

Sliced model speeds don't match settings
Sorry, but this could be a lack of understanding.
But, the slicing speeds shown, seem to have no correlation to my actual settings.
Note that the infill speed isnt even represented in the color chart, and in fact it is 32, not 60. No idea how that is calculated. SImilarly, the inner perimeters should be 30. however, they indicate on the slice they are 17.
and again the color chart does not even show 60 or 30 as speeds

RE: Tenlog TL-D3 Pro Uh-oh. Could not connect to printer!
OK, this appears to be a problem with the baud rate after all. I was able to work around it, once I discovered that even thoughg it did not connect, I could manually set the baud rate in the printer profile (in this case to 115K).
Now it connects.

Tenlog TL-D3 Pro Uh-oh. Could not connect to printer!
Uh-oh. Could not connect to printer!
I get this message trying to manual connect a Tenlog TL-D3 Pro. I can connect via Cura and Pronterface. (COM 7, 115200 baud).
It "feels" as if during the connect attempt, it is causing the board to reset (I can hear the click of a power relay) , which may be causing the COM connection to be broken, thus causing a failure. (I do not hear the windows disconnect sound though).
Note: I can connect with CURA and PRONTERFACE (COM7, 115200 baud). ANd I can still connect to other printers with MatterControl.
Is there a debug log I can engage during the connection attempt?

Multiple items as individual passes
I might have missed this in the docs, but how can I print two separate pieces that are sufficiently spaced apart and would not have a clearance issues, individually and serially, i.e., first item completes before returning z axis to 0 and continuing on.
I imagine I can do this by suitably hacking Goode, but is there functionality to do this directly in the app? (I’m referring to the current 2.x build)
Thanks for this great tool!
If this is only available in an experimental build, I’d still be interested!
