Slicing is taking forever now

anyone having issues slicing a file, trying to slice a STL file and 357 layers is taking 20 minutes. Didn't do this before. I closed MC and reopened it and its doing the same thing.
HELP!

@erievon Is it the slicing or writing to disk? It will show in the messages while it is working.

If you can share you file with me, or if it is available online, I am happy to look and see what the problem is. Updated to 2.0 today as well and noticed the Slicer lags out and stops working. Reverting back to 1.5, at least the slicer was working then.

Im having a similar problem Matter control come to a crawl when adding supports. with no supports then fine
can not do anything when added supports to any of my models
and when you do finally get to click on the print it also takes forever to print. either directly or to an SDS card.
never had this problem on earlier version before May 22 release .
oh it does work ok on models less that 100 x 100 size
Printer profile im using is an Enders 3v2
