Pulse E-432s OctoPrint

  • Hello,
I was wondering if there is a way to run octoprint through something like a raspberry pi in order to take advantage of octolapse and remote monitoring. If anyone has done this, an input would be helpful.

    Thanks,

  • I asked a similar question some time ago. Apparently The proprietary side of the firmware and software takes all eight arms of "Octoprint" and ties them together into a Gordian knot.

This is a Matterhackers product so they are on the hook for support. It would certainly lead to people asking questions and tying up support staff, so they choose to let sleeping dogs lie and stay away from any of that custom stuff as much as possible. You can't really blame them, it's hard enough to keep the doors open and break-even in this hellish economy.

Now, if your interested in upgrading your Pulse with better components, they probably have what you need and would probably be happy to help you along in your quest.

You can use OctoPrint. We just don't have guides/instructions to do so.

You can also use any slicing software you choose, but you'll need some different start gcode in order to use firmware leveling.
