Hairs at travel to new printing point and 'nibs' randomly during print
-
Platform:
Windows 7
Matter Control v1.6
Rostock MAX 2 Modified
Heated Bed surface (6mm aluminum plate); heater (silicone circular); Power Supply (24V 25A w/down regulator for 12V)
1) Getting hairs when traveling (without printing) begins;
2) Getting semi-spherical 'nibs' at undetermined locations during printing;
Any advice appreciated!

First off, version 1.6 is very old. The latest version is 1.7.5. I would recommend updating. This may help with the bumps you are seeing.
Stringing can be minimized by dialing in your retraction settings. Here is our article on how to do that.
