How do I eliminate the gaps in Mattercontrol as shown in this example image?

That kind of gap will always be in a model with that kind of geometry because the gap is coming down to a point which the nozzle diameter cannot reach. In most cases the slight over extrusion of each layer can help fill those gaps but the gaps will always be there in the G-Code.
Using a smaller diameter nozzle can help the print if you do end up with gaps but for the most part that would be just making those features smaller, not completely eliminating it.
