Printing multiple models at once
Hi. Noob here. And of course, I have a noob question. I have a Robo 3D R1+. Can I print more than one model at a time if they are small enough? And how to arrange that in Matter Control? Thanks!

I have one on the way - looking forward to it!

So the R1+ has a large print area, but I have a 3d model that may be too large for it. How can I best cut it up so I can print it up in pieces and then assemble it together? Thanks.
Considering a Rostock MAX v2
I built a Rostock MAX, had the same concerns at first but I found it to be very easy/intuitive. The documentation for the build is very through (almost 300 pages long if i remember correctly) and a great step by step guide. Took about 20 hours in total (a week of evenings), No soldering was required so you may even be over qualified!
I would say go for it - you will be happy to know the ins and outs of your machine after the build of over (it is never over, there are many upgrades to the Rostock.

Do you have an STL file?

The Quick and Kludgey way
- Use bottom clipping to slice off the bottom half of the model, and print it
- Turn the model upside down
- Use bottom clipping again to slice off the other half, then print it.
The Proper but Difficult way
Learn to use Blender.
Printing multiple models at once
Yes. Load your first model into MatterControl, then go into Edit mode. You can then drag and drop additional STLs into the edit view, and they will be added to the same print. You can also hit copy to print more than one of the same object.
Linux: File opening dialog shows last access date instead of last modify date
Already in MC 1.4 I noticed that the detailed file opening dialog in the Linux version, when adding or inserting STL files, would not show the date of the last file modification, but instead the date of the last file access - which of course is pretty useless... I had hoped that this would be corrected in version 1.5, but, alas, it is still there. Is there any way I can change this myself in some configuration? Or else, any chance it could be changed in the next update? Thanks!
