  • I tried slicing the model you posted. It's complicated, so it takes some time, but MatterControl does not crash.

Can you please post a crash log?

  • I will send you after my print

  • I have send an email !

  • Here is the relevant excerpt from the log you sent.

This just means that your system ran out of RAM while trying to slice the file. How much RAM do you have? Try closing all other applications before you try to slice. Chrome in particular is a huge memory hog. If that doesn't do it, then you will just have to upgrade your system.

  • Whooooow i have 32go of ram hahaha i make vfx and 3d whit my computer

  • Oh wow. It's definitely not using up 32 gigs of RAM. MatterControl is a 32 bit app, so it must be running up against the 4 gig limit. Nevertheless, it's working for us when we slice the same file. Maybe something about the settings you're using is causing excessive memory usage.

  • Ok i understand now why is run so slowly on startup ! i have send my printer to buy a prusa i3 mk3 original hope you guys you make a 64 bit version whit more support of ram 😉
