Well the problem with the T10 is no longer a problem, as the replacement has arrived, and working OK.But I do have a problem that I cant figureout. The nozzle just keeps pushing into the bed, no matter what Z offset I put in.I will try to reload Marlin to see if the problem is with that. But any suggestions will be much appreciated..Thanks
@erniehatt said:That did not work, it just reverted back to original position when printing.Make sure to click the 'Save' button after editing. Mirrored models is not a currently-known bug. If you can email the usual files to us, we might be able to troubleshoot the problem.
Make and Model are irrelevant, at least for connecting. In the context of MatterControl, a successful serial connection requires only the correct serial port and baud rate to be selected; everything else in the MatterControl profile is specific to the printer's attributes for printing. That said, connecting should be pretty easy, assuming that the printer and tablet are functioning normally. Do you have another host (like a computer, running MatterControl or another printer control software) that you can test the connection with, to isolate the printer or the Touch as the problem?
Ryan,I have sorted the probe problem, it seems it did not like two statements at the head of the start gcode, namelyM10y64 S and M104 S, removing these solved the problem.Other problems are with the support, these do not break away very well, they were ok before this update. Also fixed in the earlier update, the bluetooth Keyboard, does not work in this later version. Also mention earkier opening files in the cloud, does not work on the T10, but ok on the desktop computer. The next two problems are most likely settings, so if someone could give me an idea it would be great.Flat surfaces on the bed print very rough, walls are fine.Printing tube, the bottom few layers swell out to a height of around 3 mm.Tried to load the gcode file as a zip file but it did not work, so will send it via email.
Yes. From MatterControl on your desktop computer you can upload gcode files to the cloud library the same as you would with an STL file. You can also send files directly by going to the Queue and choosing Send from the More... menu. You are correct. None of the slice settings need to be changed. The T10 only needs to be able to communicate with the printer.
As of now this functionality isn't possible. I'll make note of your request for the development team as they look for new ideas. The only workaround I can see possibly working would be some kind of third-party Android app running in the background, but depending on the other app's processing requirements performance may be affected.
Thank you for the info. I must say I hope things can be resolved because the 3D view, the settings, the intuitive interface, etc, are all awesome. The same is true of the desktop version. Thank you again for the support.
These controls are available in the desktop version of MatterControl, just not on the MatterControl Touch. We are aware of this and it is on the todo list. However, it will have to wait until after the release of version 1.6, which is coming out in a few days. You can always add a macro for the M80 and M81 commands.
@wpsdlulz, does MatterControl still show that it is connected to the printer at that point? Can you move the printer manually through the motion controls? If you could post a print log from a failed print, it might shed some light on what is going on.
I printed a stand for my T10, but it will not be suitable for other machines, I love the T10, but have problems with large fingers and the Android Keyboard, tried using a bluetooth one but the T10 fails with it, I am hoping that they fix that problem real quick, but I don't think I will hold my breath on it.
Tried this out, love the perimeter bit especially on larger areas.I found something curious with the turning of the everywhere bit, when it was on it was filling small holes and they where always distorted, at first I thought it was a bad setting on one of the Axis, but since unchecking the add support everywhere this has gone away, so seems as though the support is forcing things a little.
