zonestar P802n bedleveling

  • Hello,

I’ve got an zonestar p802n 3d printer. recently I’ve started to get the auto bed leveling working on the P802n. There is a probe mounted on the zonestar printer. I've watched endless movies on YouTube to see how it works, but there is still a thing that i cannot get work properly.

When i give the g-code G29 the printer does the probe on 3 zones. I've read that when i use g-code G28 again tot get the printer back in the home position it erases the probe settings.

When i give the g-code G29 and after that i hit print, the z axis is too low.

When i edit the z height in eeprom settings, the z axis still is too low.

Does anybody know what happens here and is there something i can do about?

  • Mabey someone can help me with new Zonestar firmware. I think i don't have the correct firmware.

  • Maybe Z Offset is the missing piece of the puzzle?

  • I had the same problem with my printer, not the same printer, but with a probe, and as Ryan says the Z offset fixed the problem, adjust it a little at a time.
