Linux Build on OpenSUSE 13.2 : Blank screen, but popup windows work

  • I went ahead to see if I could do a build on OpenSUSE 13.2. The xbuild worked with a single warning after a lot of messing around installing things. mono MatterControl.exe even works, but only sort of. A blank window pops up. The mouse icon changes as I mouse over the blank screen and when I click, various popup windows come up rendered correctly..but not the main window. It's like it's decided to print grey on grey.

The only warning is from libpng:

libpng warning : iCCP: known incorrect sRGB profile.

I'm so close! Any ideas on what's going on...

  • I think I have seen this before on a Fedora system. I suspect it might be graphics driver related (that system was an old Nvidia card with the Noveau driver). What graphics card do you have and which driver are you using?

Also, it probably wouldn't hurt to make sure you are on the latest Mono. We test on version 4.2.
