Larger files will do this to MatterControl, so you'll probably need to decimate the models before you try to use them on the Touch. You won't lose any visible resolution in the finished model as the extremely high polygon counts that account for such large file sizes are too complex for 3D printers to print anyway.
I just purchased a "Touch" and uploaded the latest patches/updates and I too am seeing exactly the same issues being described here. I have a print that is supposed to take about 2 hours and 20 minutes and it keeps just stopping in mid-print using the Touch. The most recent attempt left the hotend and bed both still heating. The first time, everything reset. The Touch appears to reload or reboot itself every time this happens. Evidently, the stability patch - well - isn't.
The current rate is set at about 2 minutes, which provides very good notifications to ensure all is going well with your print. Our software team is working on increasing that rate AND adding video. Stay tunes for those features to launch.
No patch is required. You simply need to adjust your filament settings for printing Ninjaflex. We typically print it at 235 C, with no bed heating. If you experience jams, try setting your retraction "Length on Move" to 0.
